A little information on us and our dogs.
Located in "The Good Life" of Nebraska. We are a small breeder of mini/ toy aussies. We are located in Broadwater, NE. We love the breed and love to share the joy of them with other people. We have done lots of research on the breed and are keeping for the same look as the standards just in a smaller form. Most of our dogs work livestock as this is why we have them. Most of them come from champion backgrounds. We believe in testing each dog so that we know we will be having healthy pups. Our dogs are not just breeding animals, they are our family. We exercise them daily whether it be playing fetch, taking them to work with us, or starting up the 4-wheeler and taking them for a jog. We like to keep in touch with the family's that our little fur babies go to as we like to see how they are preforming in there new homes weather it be herding, show, agility, service dogs, or just family pets.
All of our dogs are pets FIRST. We live on a ranch where everyone can run around and play all day. All of our puppies are RANCH RAISED and get to experience all our property has to offer from swimming in the stock tanks to playing with everything nature has to offer. Each one of our dogs gets petted and played with every single day. Their main purpose in life is to be our companions, not to have puppies. Females are typically bred once a year.
Midwest Mini /Toy Aussies are purebred Australian shepherds first and foremost. All adults and puppies are papered. Athletic build for speed, agility, endurance and physical durability. They will possess working instinct that can be encouraged or discouraged depending on their owner's desire. Extremely intelligent, sensible and easy to train no matter the methodologies. We have adamently bred into them an "off" switch that enables them to readily adapt from workers, herders, to just house dogs and companions. True to aussie nature they devote loyalty to their family. Most are reserved with strangers, but not aggressive or timid. Our dogs have a traditional "old school" aussie appearance just a smaller body.
